REACCREDITATION COURSES – to
maintain ChemCert accreditation after 5 years
Under the terms of the Australian Quality Training Framework,
when you have completed ChemCert WA’s Level 3 Course Risk
Management in Pesticide Use (or formerly known as the Basic Farm
Chemical Users Training Course) and been declared competent in
competencies RTC 3704A and RTC 3705A, you retain these
competencies and do not need to be reassessed on them.
However to
maintain ChemCert accreditation, we recommend you take further
training. Three courses are suitable for reaccreditation.
Reaccreditation Course,
Spray Application in Vineyards,
Spray Application and Chemical Risk Management in Grain Production
ChemCert’s three courses above which are suitable for reaccreditation address the ChemCert
WA requirements for
you to receive updated information and assessment in the areas of
The Chemical Label and MSDSs, Legislation and Calibration. This
is in addition to other information and updates applicable in the
5 year period since you took the course.
If you pass the assessments, ChemCert WA will issue you with a
Statement of Reaccreditation and a new ChemCert ID card showing
your details and your latest expiry date in a further 5 years.
USING CHEMICALS SAFELY
This course addresses learning outcomes under the units of
competency RTC 1701A Follow basic chemical safety rules and RTC
2706A Apply Chemicals under supervision. ChemCert WA issues a
Statement of Participation for this course.
Registered
Training Organisations, such as Agricultural Colleges or High
Schools may issue a formal Statement of Attainment. For details
of training and assessment procedures, please contact the relevant
Registered Training Organisation.
